WHAT A NICK ROLL IS
A Nick Roll is simple: somebody goes hunting for Reddit chatter about Nick Reynolds, lands on this site, scrolls through a very serious-looking buildup, taps the button — and gets a music video. That’s the whole prank. No thread, no dirt, no drama.
Redirect jokes have been an internet tradition for decades and nobody owns that idea. This is our version of it: the Nick Reynolds variation, built around an original song and an original video rather than borrowed footage.
HOW THE BIT IS BUILT
The pacing is deliberate. You arrive on a dark screen that asks whether you came for the juice. You scroll past the posts, the comments, the rumors, the stories, the “inside information.” You get a last chance to turn around. Then you press a button that promises everything, and the site hands you a chorus.
Every one of those beats exists to stretch the anticipation, because the longer the setup runs, the better the switch lands. Nothing in the buildup describes, hints at, or invents any actual claim about anyone — it’s scaffolding for a punchline.
WHY HUMOR INSTEAD OF AN ARGUMENT
